About Our Students
Students from Kentucky, across the U.S. and, increasingly, from international points of origin enroll at the University of Kentucky to live and learn in the heart of horse country. From a customizable undergraduate equine degree to targeted graduate opportunities and from career-building enrichment activities to opportunities for sport and recreation through one of nearly a dozen equine clubs and teams, there is no better place to pursue a passion for the horse in a meaningful way.

Wildcats visit the Kentucky State Capitol
On Feb. 13, 2025 ESMA students participated in a legislative day about policies that impact the equine industry. They sat in committee meeting, watched the legislative process in the house chamber and participated in KEEP's Day at the Capitol.
